Le premier, le poisson plus gras sont manipulées avec soin et super-glacé pour le sashimi. Présent uniquement dans l'eau de mer profonde, le Big EYE est rarement ciblé ou pris par les pêcheurs sportifs. Nations de pêche les plus importants sont : Japon, la Corée, l'Espagne. Présent uniquement du Massachusetts (en été) au Brésil, Le Blackfin est un poisson important en compétition, en Floride et dans les Caraïbes.  Family: Scombridae-tunas and mackerels Typical size: 72cm A lighl-mealed tuna form the western Atlantic, the blackfin schools with skipjack, with which it is caught commercially. It may reach 100cm and 19kg. It may be canned with other light meat tunas, but most of the reported catch of about 3,000 tons a year is from recreational fishermen. Found only from Massachusetts(in the summer) to Brazil, blackfin tunas an important game fish in Florida and the Caribbean. |

The Philippines accounts for about half of the world catch of bullet and frigate lunas. The bullet tuna is caught extensively in the Atlantic, as well as in the Mediterranean and Black Seas, by many countries. It is favoured by sport fishermen partly because it can often be caught close to the coast. Commercial harvests are probably of less importance. |

Small catches from New Zealand and other countries are seasonally important. In Australia and New Zealand, most of the fishing for marlin is recreational. Some States in Australia do not allow the fish to be sold commercially, except for export. |
